Community media group Johnston Press is to launch TheSmartList, a new fixed-price recruitment service in the autumn.

The service will allow businesses seeking new staff for mid-level vacancies to pay a fixed fee for a pre-screened shortlist of qualified candidates.The cost of the service will be £349 in the launch period, rising to £549 post-launch.

Through its advertising, Johnston Press has access to over 200 newspapers, magazine and online platforms including JobsToday.co.uk and Scotsman.com/jobs.
