Global executive search firm Boyden has appointed life sciences industry expert Lori Christiansen as managing director in its San Francisco office.

Christiansen will play a key role in recruiting senior executive and functional leader roles in global companies, as well as in early-stage private equity and venture-backed firms. 

Before joining Boyden, she was biotech practice leader and vice president of the biopharma practice for two retained executive search firms specialising in the life science industry. 

She is also co-founder and president of Woman Capital Connect, a venture aimed at increasing the number of women in C-level and board positions across multiple industries.
