Contracts/Deals: Freelancer acquires Scriptlance

Outsourcing and crowdsourcing marketplace Freelancer.com has acquired Canadian freelance marketplace Scriptlance in an undisclosed deal.

With the 360,000 enterprise and professional users from around the world registered on Scriptlance, Freelancer now has more than 4m total users.
Since being founded in 2001, Scriptlance has paid out over US$43m (£28m) to freelancers.
