Jobseekers want CV follow-up decision in five days, says webrecruit

Fri, 29 Jun 2012
Just under three-quarters (75%) of jobseekers would let others know if they had a negative experience with a company’s recruitment process.

This is according to a survey of 300 candidates from online recruitment service webrecruit, which also finds that 77% of jobseekers expected to have their application acknowledged within three days.
Furthermore, 83% said they needed less than five days to hear whether their CV is being passed on, shortlisted or rejected.

Managing director Ken Burt says that “not knowing can be debilitating to a candidate’s enthusiasm and confidence in their search for a new position”.
