A government survey of university graduates finds that 75% obtained work within six months of graduating.

This is according to national news agency Bernama, which shows that this percentage is slightly higher in the elite research universities, at 77.4%, with comprehensive university graduates faring slightly less well at 72.2%.These figures have risen from 71.3% and 67% respectively in 2007.

In the UK, data from the Higher Education Statistics Authority (HESA) shows that 74.5% of graduate departing higher education were employed in 2010/11, a figures which has fluctuated modestly of late, having been 72.4% two years before that and 77% in 2006/07.
