Healthcare Locums (HCL) has launched a new healthcare service within its nursing and healthcare divisions, in response to the increasing demand for care in the community.

The community healthcare service will supply community support workers and nurses to care for people who suffer from long-term illnesses or who have recently left hospital, for example, stroke survivors, and need caring closer to home.

HCL nursing managing director Helen Rudanec says: “We have identified the need for support and care within the community and this healthcare service will support trusts with already limited resources to deliver quality care for patients both in and out of hospital.”
