Telecoms, media and technology recruiter RP International (RPI) has appointed David Higgins as chairman and David Northey as chief finance officer.

Higgins is the founder of Harvey Nash Group and spent a total of around 20 years with the company.

Northey started his career in finance, before moving to Harvey Nash Group, where he eventually held the role of chief finance officer.

Chief executive Stuart Wilson says that the new appointments “will ensure we have the strongest possible team to ensure RPI continues to flourish in the international markets” – with the company focused on Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific.

Stephen Lovelace, who founded RPI 14 years ago and was previously its chairman, now becomes a non-executive director.
