RESULTS: Profits rise 7% at Eurostaff
Wed, 23 May 2012
Energy and technology recruiter Eurostaff Group has seen a 7% increase in profits in the nine-month period to 31 December 2011 compared with the previous year.
Turnover increased by 13% in this time to £19.6m, with growth in both the UK and European operations, and the split between revenue from contract and permanent placements remaining consistent with that of previous years, at 61:39%.
These results include the performance of the energy practice now known as Earthstaff, with the nine month reporting period necessary as the
company restructured in February, as reported by
recruiter.co.uk.
The firm’s staffing numbers increased by 33% period-on-period.
Founder and managing director Mark Znowski calls the figures “truly impressive results in light of what has been an extremely difficult time for both the recruitment industry and the global economy”.
He adds that “we anticipate a continued increase in sales during the next review period”, and notes that the company is due to launch a new office in Germany imminently.
