Rec-to-rec JPA Recruitment has opened new offices in Singapore and Hong Kong, in addition to its current operations in London and Sydney.

The firm has been assisting recruiters in relocating to Australia since 2004.Robin Clarke, director of JPA Asia Pacific, says: “In the last three years we have seen a significant increase in the number of recruiters who want to move to Singapore and Hong Kong.

“Coupled with the demand from our clients for experienced recruiters from overseas and locally we felt it was no longer viable to operate in these markets remotely from Sydney and we needed to have a physical presence on the ground.”

The firm has promoted Dominic Thurmott, a 2011 graduate who has been with the firm since July, to the position of head of the Hong Kong division.

Peter Mills is the firm’s Singapore country manager, and is a new appointment from Australian-based banking and finance recruiter Gemmell Ovenden Walsh (GOW), where he worked out of Singapore.

Mills previously worked with Glasgow-based recruiter HR Consultancy, having started his career as a mortgage adviser.
