Welsh pie maker looks to fill new roles in Caerphilly

A Welsh pie manufacturer is creating 110 new jobs.

The BBC reports Caerphilly-based Peter’s Food Service says the recruitment drive follows its move to a two-shift operation and taking on more staff after securing a number of new deals.

The firm adds it had spoken to some of the 252 workers who lost their jobs when Triumph Furniture of Merthyr Tydfil went bust earlier this month in an effort to find them new roles within the pie company.
