Veteran recruitment expert Brooks joins Elite Leaders as CEO

Recruitment agency leaders networking organisation Elite Leaders has appointed industry veteran Jeff Brooks as CEO.

Brooks brings with him a wealth of experience in the recruitment industry having founded Gresham Computer Personnel and Amdahl. He currently sits on the board of Primesourcing, where he is non-executive chairman.

Brooks’ experience includes five years on the board of Parity Resources, and 10 years on the board of the Recruitment & Employment Confederation (REC) between 2007 and 2017.

Elite Leaders chairman John O’Sullivan said: “With over 35 years in the recruitment industry there isn’t much Jeff doesn’t know about it. He has seen it all before and his expertise will be a very welcome asset.”

Brooks told Recruiter that “the value add” he wanted to bring to Elite Leaders was to provide advice and support to members not just at meetings, but between meetings.

Describing this service as “the non-exec you need when you need them”, he said he wanted to give members “the ability to pick the phone up or email myself or John [O’Sullivan], and say ‘I have got something bugging me and it won’t wait, can you help me?’ And boy do we know people; we can signpost them to all sorts of things, so I think that is the value add I am looking to do.”
