New care centre to create 100+ jobs in North Yorkshire

North Yorkshire’s care sector is being boosted to the tune of 130 new jobs.

The Telegraph & Argus reports this is due to the opening of a new £12m care centre at the former Malsis School in the village of Glusburn, North-West of Keighley.

The paper reports the Grade 2 listed building is being converted into a rehabilitation and recovery centre for local people, and will also provide facilities to the local community including sports pitches, a sports pavilion and meeting rooms.
