Winning Investing in Talent Award helps hospitality recruiter find candidates

Winning the ‘Best Temporary Workforce Care’ Investing In Talent award in 2017 helped CJUK address its biggest challenge: finding candidates for clients.

Ahead of Friday’s deadline for entries in this year’s Investing in Talent Awards, we caught up with Katie Mellor, director at chef and hospitality staffing specialist CJUK, who told Recruiter: “It’s our biggest challenge and it always will be.”

Mellor said winning the award has been great for recruiting new candidates as it demonstrates to the marketplace that they will have a good experience at CJUK. “It reinforces everything we are trying to do. It’s all about creating the best possible candidate experience, so that candidates come and work for us – and they stay with us.”

The award has also been a real morale booster for the team and reminds them that they are focusing on the right stuff, Mellor went on to say: “It rewards them for all the hard work they put into the candidate experience and reassures them that the hard work is paying off.”

Recruiters only have until tomorrow (12 July) to get their entries into this year’s Awards, so choose your categories and get your entries in here. Very best of luck to all!
