• Following today’s announcement that Impellam is to de-merge from Carlisle Support Services, the Carlisle board will be as follows: Paul Evans – CEO; Michael Shirt – finance director; Peter Gaze – non-executive chairman; Angela Entwistle – non-exec director; Philip Osborne – non-exec director.

• Renewable energy staffing specialist Cathcart Energy has launched a new office in Copenhagen. Nanna Bendixen has also been appointed as a new consultant, taking over responsibility of the company’s existing accounts in Denmark, and will lead the team in adding new clients to their growing portfolio.

• North-West based recruitment specialists CCS Recruitment and Inspired Recruitment have appointed Cezara Glynn as marketing manager. In the newly-created role, Glynn will be responsible for supporting business development and managing marketing material for the recruiters, in a bid to expand partnerships with clients and candidates across the North-West, UK and Europe.

• East Midlands recruitment firm Cherry Professional has promoted Danielle Coleman from associate director to director. Jackie Lister joins as senior recruitment consultant to cover part-qualified professionals along with Claire Watts as senior recruitment consultant covering administration and business professional roles.

Cordant Engineering, part of multi-sector recruiter Cordant Group, has appointed Matthew Heath head of business development and welcomes back Bryan Flood as recruitment business manager. Flood returns after five years with engineering recruiter NES Global Talent.

• Student and graduate recruitment platform Debut has appointed James Bennett as CEO.

• Talent solutions provider Hudson Global has appointed new independent directors Mimi Drake and Connia Nelson to its board of directors.

• North-East based international recruitment firm Jackson Hogg has bolstered its research team with the hire of recent Newcastle University graduate Jess Priest as a research consultant.

• Technology, digital & change recruiter La Fosse’s New York practice welcomes Adam Gohar as senior vice president and head of technology recruitment.

• North East-headquartered consumer sector staffing specialist Nigel Wright Group welcomes Sara Walker as senior consultant and Nina Robison as managing consultant in its Newcastle office. Jade Cook and Nikki-Dee Laing have also joined the firm’s Teesside office as recruitment consultants.

• Multi-sector recruiter Outsource UK has appointed Paul Jezzard as chief financial officer. Jezzard initially joined the business in an interim capacity last November.

• Executive search and talent advisory firm Sheffield Haworth welcomes Sonjay Vishnupad as managing director, corporate officers practice in New York, Penny Bushell as head of US operations in New York and Ben Johnson as MD responsible for the insurance practice in London.

• North Wales-based recruiter Supertemps welcomes Natasha Jones as senior recruitment consultant, joining Alex Russell in expanding the firm in North-East Wales.
