FINANCIALS: Randstad posts double-digit increase in revenues
Recruitment giant Randstad has posted a 13% increase in annual revenues, according to its full-year 2017 results.
The full-year results, released this morning, reveal revenue rose from €20.6bn (£18.2bn) to €23.2bn, with gross profit up from €3.9bn to €4.7bn.
The group also released results for Q4 2017 showing revenue rose from €5.5bn to €5.9bn year on year, with GP up from €1.1bn to €1.2bn over the same period.
On the previous quarter, revenue was up 1% in North America and 10% in the Rest of the World and up 11% in Europe, with revenue up 12% in France, up 26% in Italy, up 15% in Iberia and up 11% in the UK.
Randstad CEO Jacques van den Broek said the group was proud to have outperformed in its most relevant markets. “We finished the year on a strong note, despite markedly tougher comparables.
“We aim to gain further marketshare, driven by our differentiating Tech & Touch strategy, lifting the barriers to entry… The digital transformation we are going through as a company culminated in the launch of our new brand promise in the last quarter of 2017: Human Forward.”
