US-based on-demand staffing platform Wonolo has launched a new service aimed at enabling companies to find and manage on-demand talent from a single platform.

Wonolo’s W-2 option offers companies the ability to source both 1099 and W-2 workers on the same platform.

In the US, for tax purposes contractors are required to fill out the Internal Revenue Service’s 1099 form, while employees fill out the W-2 form.

Wonolo is short for Work Now Locally.
