FINANCIALS: Profits up 17% at Cpl Resources

Fri, 31 Jan 2014Irish recruitment firm Cpl Resources grew its pre-tax profits by 17% to €7m (£5.76m) for the half-year ended December 2013.

Revenue rose 14% to €184.3m, as the company said it continued to deliver strong growth across the business.

“Our gross profit generated from permanent placements in the six months to December 2013 was €10m, an increase of 34%," says John Hennessy, Cpl chairman.

“I am particularly pleased to report strong growth in our international business, reflected by the fact that 40% of our permanent fees were generated outside of Ireland in the six months to 31 December 2013.”
