Multi-sector recruiter Carlton Resource Solutions has seen turnover increase by 60% in H2, according to its trading results for the last six months of 2010.

The firm says turnover for the first six months of the business year (July to December 2010) was up to £7.3m from £4.6m for the same period in 2009.

Carlton managing director Kevin Riley says: “Early indications are that 2011 is going to be a prosperous year with the stable oil price and a number of projects for the North Sea and international locations given the green light.

“As a result, Carlton will be looking to increase the headcount of talented recruitment consultants by at least three and, in tandem, additional support staff will also be required.”
