Harvey Nash chief executive officer Albert Ellis will be the keynote speaker at Recruiter's second conference, the 'Wealth Forum', in October in London.

The Forum will be a one-day conference, held on 30 October. It will be bookended on 29 and 31 October by two masterclasses. The first will focus on digital marketing, the second on legal 'best practices' for the recruitment industry. The latter will cover such topics as protecting your organisation against undercutting, cybersquatting and marketing, and the latest news on the managed service company tax regime.

In addition to Ellis, the conference will feature talks by some of the UK's most innovative and influential recruitment professionals and industry observers. Among the speakers will be Sue Dodd of Agile Intelligence, who will discuss results of the 2007 Hot 100 report, which will be published in Recruiter on 17 October.

Kevin Barrow of Blake Lapthorn Tarlo Lyons, Paul Whitehouse of the Gangmasters Licensing Authority and John Thorpe, head of the Employment Agency Standards Directorate, will speak at the 31 October masterclass on legal 'best practices'. Speakers at the 29 October masterclass on digital marketing will be Gail Dudleston of creative agency twentysix London and Colin Minto of recruitment technology consultancy Bornto.

"This event will give recruiters the chance to hear a wide spectrum of industry professionals talk about specific elements of their businesses that contribute to their overall wealth — as well as to hear more focused presentations in the masterclass format," said Recruiter editor DeeDee Doke.

"We wanted to give a forum to some of the most forward-thinking recruiters in the business, who will play major roles to professionalise the industry in the years to come."
