David Hope has stepped down as chief operating officer and finance director at healthcare recruiter Pinnacle Staffing Group.

Having previously agreed a reduction in his notice period from six months to 28 days, Hope has notified the board of his intention to resign as a director on 22 April to pursue a new opportunity.

Following the sale of Pinnacle’s nursing and medical services businesses in September 2010, Hope’s main focus has been working to cut the onerous contract commitments retained by the firm, as well as negotiating new financing facilities to support the ongoing doctors recruitment business.
