Education and children’s services recruiter Navigate has appointed former head teacher Simon Camby as client director.

Education and children’s services recruiter Navigate has appointed former head teacher Simon Camby as client director.

The former education consultant and school improvement adviser with Education Leeds, was head teacher at a school in Leeds, which in the space of two and half years went from being in difficulty to a “good school with outstanding features”, according to Ofsted.

Peter Addison Child, director, Navigate, says: “With experience leading schools through adversity as well as in education advisory roles, Simon is a valuable addition to our team. He will bring a fresh insight into all areas of our work and ensure we continue to provide the best possible advice and support to the education sector.”
