The Sherwood Group lands £600m contract with Kier North Tyneside
Outsourcing specialist The Sherwood Group has won a 10-year recruitment contract with construction firm Kier North Tyneside.
The £600m project will see the firm supply Kier with a broad range of skilled and manual workers following Kier North Tyneside’s successful bid to repair and maintain 16,000 homes owned by North Tyneside Council.
Kier North Tyneside managing director Peter Brynes adds: “Kier Building Maintenance has always had a good working relationship with Sherwood and we are looking forward to continuing to work with them in North Tyneside. Kier believe it is very important to recruit locally and by working with Sherwoods, we hope to achieve this.”
