Employers are failing to effectively exploit social networking to hire new recruits, according to research from headhunter Executives Online.
The research shows that in a survey of 1,264 senior executives, only 4% of them have actually hired someone via a social networking site.

It is understandable. They have less resources than the recruitment agencies to gain access to these candidates. With DaXtra the recruiters can search, match and download candidates from Linkedin and other professional networks in just few clicks....

The report is intriguing but not very helpful. Do you have any ideas of how to be more effective or links to people that do?
