Redgrave Partners launches Argyll Scott
Executive search firm Redgrave Partners has launched Argyll Scott, a new middle management recruitment business, to compete with established companies, such as Michael Page.
Paul Fox, a founding partner of Redgrave Partners, who now leads Argyll Scott, told Recruiter: “Argyll Scott aims to bring a fresh approach to recruiting at junior and middle management levels, across a wide range of functions and sectors.
“And given our relationship with Redgrave Partners, we can fully utilise the networking capabilities commonly found in search and combine that with the energy and sense of urgency that is required to recruit effectively at middle management level.”
Fox says Argyll Scott will be looking to compete with established middle management recruiters, operating in the £40k to £100k salary range.
Fox said it is unusual that a search business aims to create a middle management brand in this way. “It is more common for companies to do it ”the other way round” where recruiters ‘bolt on’ an executive search function to their existing middle management business, he claimed, citing Michael Page and Michael Page Executive Search as an example.
Taking this ‘top down’ approach would provide Argyll Scott with “a huge opportunity to capitalise on relationships that Redgrave Partners already has at a senior level,” he said.
The launch is the first step in Redgrave Partner’s wider strategic plan to create a multi-dimensional recruitment group, Fox added.
