Recruitment to remain low in Q2

Employers expect the UK’s labour market to be subdued in Q2, according to the latest Manpower Employment Outlook Survey.

The survey of 2,102 employers shows that while 8% of employers forecast an increase in headcount, 7% anticipate a decrease and 84% predict no change. Consequently, the net employment outlook stands at just +1%.
