Recruiter’s 3rd Annual Forum

John Dodsworth, regional sales director, the Royal Bank of Scotland, told Recruiter: “This kind of get together between owner and managers to share best practice is useful. There were very interesting debates about best practice in the current environment and which sectors are performing well.”

The economic assessment, provided by one of Dodsworth’s colleagues, will help with long-term strategic planning, according to attendees. Julie O’Neill, joint managing director at rec-to-rec recruiter McCall, told Recruiter: “It was useful to hear the Royal Bank of Scotland. It was delivered in layman’s terminology and it’s good to get an assessment at the beginning of Q2.”

Stephen Brewis, group governance manager at Impellam Group, told Recruiter having a client and recruiter present together increased the
understanding of the relationship. “It demonstrates a good underlying relationship between two people is a good way to do business,” he said.

Kate McCarthy, owner of McCarthy Recruitment and Carolyne Daykin, people & capability manager at BP Retail gave a presentation on securing client relationships to maximise return, now and when the economy recovers.
