The days of recruiters may be numbered — at least if you’re looking for a job in Dubai. The Times ran a picture of sackedmanager Andrew Blair and his car (no, that’s not him to the right…). In anattempt to find work, he scrawled:‘Construction project manager. Made redundant today’ with his name and mobile phone number on his Porsche Boxter — in permanent black marker pen. Although the respray would cost around £1,000, he received calls from more than a dozen potential employers. Just goes to show it does pay to advertise.
