It’s a favourite time of the year for me: not only is there a spectacular party, there’s a spectacular line-up of recruitment talent that comes to the fore. This year, the pre-event buzz is palpable, and the shortlist reflects a variety of exciting businesses, both long established and more recently arrived, as well as stellar individual achievements.
