One in four workers prepared to quit without new job
One in four people would quit their job without securing a new post, according to research from assessment firm Psychtests.com.
The poll of 7,000 people also found 57% would change careers late in life, while 61% prefer working in a job environment where their work is constantly changing.
Almost two thirds (63%) said they would take a big risk if there’s a good reward (e.g. money, recognition).

I fall into the 1 in 4 or 25% who have quit their job without a job to go to.

This is an interesting post, but why would one in four people quit their jobs without securing a new post? Surely there has to be substance behind that stat?

Being in the job I was in became a job and left me wondering why I was doing it. It became a job, boring mundane and stress filled. I took the opportunity to let those who thought they knew what they were talking about what I thought, and called it a day. I am now more focused and know what I want to do, and will go out and do it and earn more money doing it properly.
