    Tiger Recruitment has launched a free iPhone app which gives access to news and social networks, and allows secretarial and PA candidates to access posted jobs and employers to express interest in hiring.A press release from the recruiter emphasises the cost-saving benefits of the technology, and says that globally in the last three years, 10.9bn downloads of mobile phone apps have occurred.A version for Android is due to be released around the end of the month.

    PA salaries in London are rising again but remain down on 2007 levels, according to new data from finance, accounting, HR and office support staffing specialist Poolia.Based on its analysis of all PA salaries since 2007, average annual salaries for a City PA decreased by 15% in 2008 and 2009, while hourly rates fell by 12%. Annual salaries are 5% down on the rate for 2007, while hourly rates are down 2%.
