Capita completes sale of recruitment businesses to Endless

Capita has completed the sale of its specialist recruitment businesses within education, social, care and health personnel to Endless, a specialist turnaround investor.

At the end of March, Recruiter reported that Capita had entered exclusive negotiations to sell Capita Specialist Recruitment for around £25m to Endless after the group announced it was streamlining following a “disappointing” performance in 2016.

In a statement, Capita confirmed it had completed the sale to Endless, but remains committed to its remaining workplace services businesses including its public and private recruitment process outsourcing, executive search, vetting, employer branding agency and learning services businesses.

The businesses sold include Monarch Education, CER, Quality Teachers, 4FRONT, Team24 and Medicare First.

In the same statement, Capita revealed the overall performance of its business is trading in line with expectations, while most of its major private and public sector contracts are continuing to perform well. The start of new contracts with mobilcom-debitel and Three UK have also gone smoothly.
