US Bazaarvoice creates 170 jobs in Belfast

Texas-based software firm Bazaarvoice is creating 170 jobs at a new European base in Northern Ireland over the next three years.

The firm’s new base in Belfast will house 168 software engineering, sales and customer service staff.

Bazaarvoice’s customer review software enables retailers and brands to collect and use consumer reviews, including product ratings, social media posts, photos and video, to influence purchasing decisions, both online and offline.

Regional development agency Invest NI has been offered £1.3m of government support towards the new jobs and skills development.
