Guidant Group drives off with AA deal

Outsourced recruitment solutions provider Guidant Group has secured a five-year deal with roadside recovery firm the AA.

The recruiter, which has head offices in London and Atlanta, this month revealed it was appointed in January for the outsourced recruitment service, which covers multiple disciplines across the AA’s UK locations.

The service will be delivered via an on-site team based at the AA’s UK headquarters in Basingstoke, Hampshire, and will have an emphasis on providing IT talent to drive the company’s technology strategy.

Guidant Group account director for the AA Michael Scullion said: “My team’s priority is to make it easier for the AA’s hiring managers to find the right workers quickly and at a cost-effective rate. We can only do this by building outstanding relationships with our hiring managers, our candidates and our suppliers.

“The AA is also firmly committed to diversity & inclusion and we’re excited to use our extensive expertise in this area to support them in building a diverse and innovative workforce.”

AA head of talent acquisition Craig Morgans said: “We understand that the implementation of a first-generation managed service provider brings numerous challenges.

“Guidant has significant experience in guiding companies through these issues and what stands Guidant apart is its inclusive, honest approach and desire to be seen as an extension of the internal talent acquisition team. Coupled with an excellent reputation for deliver, it’s this that will ensure our partnership is a success.”
