Second Life job seekers head for fair

A virtual job fair for Luxembourg, which aims to recruit high-calibre candidates for skilled roles, is attracting keen Second Lifers from 45 countries worldwide.

Set up by Gax Technologies, Working Worlds will be held on 28 November. More than 800 candidates have submitted their CVs and will undergo virtual interviews. Among the recruitment agencies and financial institutions represented are Manpower, Randstad, Dexia Bank and Kaupthing Bank. To date, 30% of the registrants come from France, 11% from the UK and 9% from Poland.
