OVERSEAS RECRUITMENT
A majority of European companies expect executive skills shortages in Russia and Eastern Europe will be filled by expatriates, according to a survey by BlueSteps.com, the career management service of the Association of Executive Search Consultants (AESC).
The survey shows that 73% of respondents expect to hire expats to fill key executive roles and 27% expect to train younger local talent to fill executive roles.
Peter Felix, president of the global association of executive search consultants (AESC), says: “These countries have reached a critical stage in which they require strong talent to make them global economic players.
“The question is where will that talent come from? While Russia is developing a younger ‘golden generation’, top talent is still in short supply.”
