New IT contractor induction concept is launched

IT Consultants Direct has launched a contractor induction service to provide IT contractors a fixed finder’s fee, replacing the industry standard of commission.

Company managing director Richard Simmons says: “We are convinced that our clients will welcome the fixed fee approach as an opportunity to greatly reduce their recruiting costs whilst acquiring contractors of the highest calibre.”

The service operates like any other contract vacancy. The difference comes when the client selects a candidate. A straightforward finder’s fee of £750 (plus VAT) is charged, and the contractor and client then can negotiate their own fees and terms.
