EMPLOYEE HAPPINESS
British workers are increasingly unhappy in their jobs even though they may be satisfied with their salaries, according to a report by disibility insurer Unum.
The research found that salary satisfaction has risen slightly to 54%, from 53% last year.
On average, British people are 67% satisfied with their job, and 43% satisfied with their career progress.
However, satisfaction levels have fallen concerning workloads, working relationships, the work environment and benefits packages.
The biggest drop in satisfaction was with the amount of autonomy people had at work.
