Construction recruitment
A construction recruiter has enjoyed record growth by concentrating his efforts abroad.
Despite new figures from the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors’ annual survey claiming that members’ workloads were declining at their fastest rate in 14 years, Michael Daulton, managing director at Daulton Construction Personnel, told Recruiter that his business had experienced record growth by concentrating efforts on oil-rich locations.
Daulton said: “Over the last six months, my business has been growing at its fastest rate. Volume of activity has grown by 200% and turnover has increased by 100%. We have gone anywhere where there is oil revenue, the Caribbean, the Gulf, Dubai, Oman, Abu Dhabi, Singapore and Malaysia.”
