US cybersecurity firm creates 100 jobs in Ireland

A US cybersecurity firm is creating 100 jobs at a new centre of excellence in Cork, Ireland.

In a statement yesterday, Forcepoint – which is based in Austin – revealed the roles will be housed at One Albert Quay, a new facility in Cork city centre. Most of the jobs are expected to be in cloud and endpoint software engineering.

Forcepoint’s investment is being supported by the Irish government through the development authority IDA Ireland.
