FINANCIALS: Harvey Nash posts rise in UK & Ireland profits

Global technology recruiter Harvey Nash has seen UK & Ireland gross profit rise 20% year-on-year, according to a trading update.

The update covering trading so far this year, and issued in advance of the global technology recruiter’s capital markets day today, attributes the strong growth in the UK & Ireland in part to increased numbers of contractors on the agency’s books compared with last year.

The group has also seen GP increase in Benelux, Nordics and Central Europe year-on-year but fall in the rest of the world segment following an exceptional performance in the US last year.
