New CEO to take over at Monster

A new CEO is to take the helm at Randstad-owned careers site Monster.

Scott Gutz, currently CEO at technical solutions provider to travel and tourism sector Amadeus North America, will take up his new role on 2 July 2018.

He was also a former CEO of e-Travel – a subsidiary of software provider Oracle. During his time there he successfully facilitated and implemented the company’s sale to Amadeus in 2001.

Gutz succeeds Mark Stoever, who left the firm last summer. Chris Kibarian, CEO of Randstad Digital Ventures, was shepherding the company and helped build the executive team following Randstad's acquisition. Kibarian will continue to oversee both Monster and RiseSmart in his role as head of Randstad Digital Ventures.

In his new role Gutz will report to Kibarian and will be based in Weston, Massachusetts.

Recruitment giant Randstad completed the acquisition of Monster in November 2016.
