Morson acquires Canadian recruitment specialist Strategic Infusion

Morson Group has increased its presence in North America with the acquisition of Canada’s Strategic Infusion.

The technical recruiter revealed this morning it has acquired the Burlington-based firm, including its four operating companies: Commissioning & Technical Services in Canada, Commissioning & Technical Services and Comtask Global in the US and MComm Solution in Puerto Rico.

According to Morson, the deal will strengthen its Morson’s North American operations providing technical professional services in recruitment, consulting, turnkey projects and outsourcing.

Commenting on the deal, Morson Group CEO Ged Mason said: “There is a clear need for the talent and expertise in these sectors that we can source for our clients. The wider group’s combined geographical presence will enhance reach and aid development of local personalised relationships with consultants, sub-contractors and clients, and also provide the best possible continuity and variety of work assignments for our engaged contractor workforces.”

Legal and financial advisers on the transaction were Beyond Legal, Blake, Cassels & Graydon and Deloitte for Morson, and Duff & Phelps and Keyser Mason Ball on behalf of SI.
