Recruiters urged to look at values as well as job spec when hiring

Recruiters have been urged to tread carefully when hiring workers with particularly conservative views or risk being brought to tribunal and face potentially unlimited fines.

The warning follows a case in the US in which tech giant Google has been accused of discriminating against conservative white men in a class action lawsuit filed by two former engineers.
