Recruiter lobbies Home Office over shortage occupation lists for all doctors

A Bristol-based recruiter is lobbying the Home Office to call for all doctor classifications to be added to shortage occupation lists after discovering around 50 doctors who are waiting to enter the UK.

According to Daniel Platts (pictured above), director at BDI Resourcing, in December last year he noticed quite a few of the doctors he was seeking to place in permanent roles in the NHS were having their visa applications rejected.
