Prince Andrew seeks green-fingered assistant for Royal Lodge

Do you have green fingers, don’t fancy working inside and are a fan of the Royals?

Well Prince Andrew – that’s the Duke of York to you – is seeking an assistant gardener for his household in the Royal Lodge at Windsor Great Park, the prince’s official residence.

You’ll need an industry-recognised qualification in horticulture (NVQ 2 or equivalent), as well as a PA1/PA6 chemical spray qualification and a clean UK driving licence. You’ll also need experience operating a wide range of garden machinery, good time management and prioritising skills and excellent communication skills.

Closing date for applications are on Sunday (21 January), so start honing your gardening skills, pop on your Hunter wellies and Barbour jacket, and tidy up the borders of your CV.
