Financials: InterQuest NFI hit by Brexit and hung parliament challenges

InterQuest has seen net fee income fall 14% year-on-year amid a challenging trading environment caused by Brexit and uncertainties associated with the hung parliament following the general election, according to a trading update for the six months to 30 June 2017.

The results, published this morning, reveal that NFI over the period fell to £9.5m from £11.0m in H1 2016, with the group citing challenging conditions in the contracting market for its financial services business.

The group expects to publish interim results in September.
