Irish pharma firm to create 330 jobs

Regarding your article on MSD creating 330 new jobs in Ireland... I’m most surprised that no sections of the mainstream media noticed that the same company only shut down a manufacturing facility in Southern Ireland (Wicklow) last year with the loss of approximately 300 jobs, so are these really new jobs???

At that time they touted excess capacity in their manufacturing network as the reason for the closure but the newest jobs reflect increased capacity requirements.
