Latest appointments for this week including: Cast UK, Debenhams, DP Connect, England Associates, Peace Recruitment, Pedersen & Partners, Police Scotland
• Management and executive recruiter Cast UK has appointed Jack Rogers as logistics and supply chain specialist. Based in Manchester, Rogers will specialise in recruiting across logistics, warehousing and transport roles.
• Retail giant Debenhams has appointed Sally Hyndman as HR director. Hyndman is a former group HR director at Dixons Carphone and HR director at ASK Restaurants.
• Tech recruiter and outsourced IT specialist DP Connect has promoted two senior managers, following its recently announced management buyout in which the company was acquired by current CEO Aidan Anglin.
Izzy Brown, previously head of the Edinburgh operation, is now client services director, with Andrew Bowie succeeding Brown as head of Edinburgh.
• England Associates has announced the graduation of trainee recruitment consultants Jordan Shepherd and Declan White from its debut Training Academy.
Shepherd joins England Associates’ architecture & interior design team focusing on London and South England, while White is part of the recruiter’s blue collar trades and labour team, starting up a new mechanical & electrical desk.
• Construction and property specialists Peace Recruitment has appointed Alison Blake as manager. Blake, who joins Peace after more than a decade at recruiter Hays, will have responsibility for managing the technical and professional freelance business across central Scotland.
• International executive search firm Pedersen & Partners has appointed Kairi Kaasik in Estonia and Figaro den Hollander in the Netherlands.
Kaasik, who joins as consultant in the Tallinn office, spent 11 years with global food manufacturer Mars, recruiting and leading sales and marketing teams in the Baltics. Previously founder and owner of executive search firm Navigator Network, den Hollander joins Pedersen & Partners’ Amsterdam office as client partner.
• Police Scotland has appointed Jude Helliker as director of people and development. Helliker was previously head of HR at the Police Service of Northern Ireland.
