Latest appointments for week of 2-5 May 2017

• The board of directors at 51job, a provider of integrated HR services in China, has accepted the resignation of Kazumasa Watanabe due to a change in his professional responsibilities at Recruit Holdings, a principal shareholder of the firm. Junichi Arai is appointed as a director, effective immediately.

• International recruitment and search consultancy Eames Consulting Group has appointed Joss Collins as associate director.

Collins, who will be responsible for the firm’s London-based contract finance, risk management, audit and compliance team, will focus on the expansion of the team and attracting new consultants to support planned growth into the European financial services market.

• IT recruiter Franklin Bates has appointed Kiren Sidhu as client services manager. In her new role Sidhu leads a team delivering specialist services to select Franklin Bates clients.

• Manchester-based recruiter Frazer John Recruitment has promoted four members of staff. As part of its plans to expand beyond Manchester, a number of the newly-promoted staff members will be formally launching the business in London.

The four promotions are: Anna Chenery as senior partner client services; John Mackey as managing partner for Manchester; Oliver Matthews as finance director; and Nathan Jones as billing partner.

• Global executive search firm Heidrick & Struggles has made three hires aimed at expanding the global capabilities of its culture shaping business.

Taking the new leadership roles are Barbara Porter – partner and chief customer experience officer, Matt Herzberg – principal and practice lead, industrial and Rose Gailey – partner and practice lead, Latin America.
