Flashdance: what a flexible feeling

The stunt, on Friday 31 March at midday, will see hundreds of people strutting their stuff to raise awareness around flexible working and its benefits, particularly for parents of young children.

Co-ordinated by parenting blog MotherPukka founder Anna Whitehouse, and run in conjunction with sponsor workspace provider Regus, the event is the latest in a series of flash dances, organised by MotherPukka that have taken place across the UK in a bid to promote flexible working nationwide.

A recent change in legislation means anyone in the UK who's been in their job for more than six months has the right to request flexible working but research suggests that 60% of mums still don't have access to it.
